Sea Lion & Espíritu Santo Island Day Tour
Depart from the La Paz Malecón aboard a traditional panga and discover the spectacular Sea of Cortez, famously known as “The Aquarium of the World.”
Our first stop is the famous sea lion colony at Los Islotes, known for its curious and playful sea lions. During the sea-lion season from September through May, you’ll have the opportunity to swim and snorkel alongside these incredible animals in their natural environment.
From June through August, swimming and snorkeling with the sea lions is restricted during their breeding season. During these months, you can still visit the colony and observe the sea lions from the boat.
After visiting the sea lions, we continue to Espíritu Santo Island and the beautiful San Gabrielito Bay, where you can swim, snorkel, relax on the beach and enjoy the incredible scenery of this UNESCO-listed natural environment.
A fresh fish ceviche and soft drinks are included, making this a perfect day to experience the natural beauty of the Sea of Cortez.
Biologically speaking, the Sea of Cortez is one of the richest marine ecosystems on Earth and is home to an extraordinary variety of marine life, including numerous species found nowhere else in the world.
